On stream
Danny Wave is an American streamer and content creator broadcasting on TikTok, Twitch, YouTube and Kick. Live streaming is the center of his work. His streams pair gaming with real-time audience conversation. He also produces and independently releases original music.
Supporting small streamers
Danny has a soft spot for small streamers with very few viewers. He knows what starting out feels like, so he loves popping in to say hi, send gifts, and make someone's day. He's also happy to share streaming tips. Special Kae became an early friend after they met in one of her early lives and he offered to share tips. Das Brat is another smaller streamer he loves supporting, and the support goes both ways. He also met Kung Fu Jesus by chance and loves cheering him on.
Before streaming
Danny's work background is in digital marketing, graphic design, and web design. He has since shifted his focus toward streaming and online content.
Michigan, Los Angeles, Germany
Danny was born on July 31, 1990, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He grew up in Michigan and lived in Los Angeles in his twenties. In 2022, he moved to Germany, where he lives with his wife, Lilly.
Lilly and Brody
Danny and Lilly matched on Tinder during COVID and first met in person in Paris. They married in 2023. Lilly found their English setter, Brody, while volunteering at a shelter in Italy, and they adopted him together.
Family
Danny is the youngest of five, with two brothers and two sisters. His mom raised all five children by herself and has always encouraged him to chase his dreams. He no longer speaks to his dad. His mom is his biggest fan. Sorry, Pink.
Tournaments and the wheel
Danny runs Fortnite tournaments and has given winners more than $1,000 in prizes. The wheel giveaway gives the non-sweats a chance too, without having to win a match.
Superior dancing
Danny's dancing has a style all its own. GloRilla is a reliable reason for him to get moving, and chat loves watching him go. His first event, the 1K Twerkathon, followed a promise to twerk at 1,000 TikTok followers. He hit the goal and kept the promise in one of his biggest streams.
Pistols and Zero Build
Pistols are Danny's weapon of choice. He likes to create distance and land precise shots at mid-to-long range, keeping out of close shotgun fights. He mainly plays Zero Build. He can build defensively better than the average non-builder, but building and editing aren't his strongest skills.
Superior Shots
Players Danny beats sometimes turn up in his live chat to accuse him of cheating or credit aim assist. The stream has its answer: Danny doesn't cheat. He has Superior Shots. The phrase applies to excellent shots in any game, with any weapon. Except shotguns, as the community is quick to point out.
You look like a frog
Lilly once compared Danny to a frog after he gained weight around his stomach, chest, and face. Sharing that story with chat led to Kermit Wave and Kermie Wave usernames, frog emojis, and endless "ribbit" jokes. Discord filled with frog GIFs and memes, and Jpg put Danny's face on a dancing frog. The joke stuck.
Friends in streaming
Wickedly and Sayers found Danny's stream by chance and became good friends. Wicked is a trusted ear for advice about streaming, as well as a regular source of teasing in chat. Danny and Sayers have even joked about starting a boy band. He also hit it off with Woogity from their first meeting and loves watching her stream grow. Through her, he met her number-one duo, Goldie, who loves calling him cranky.
The people behind the stream
Friendship is a big part of why Danny loves this community. Time in chat, games together, advice, and encouragement all mean a lot to him. He wants the people who have shown up for him to know they're appreciated, and celebrating them is one of the reasons this wiki exists.
